Abstract:
In order to provide a flat antenna having a simple design and not having a great change in communication properties even if there are metal objects, etc., in the vicinity thereof, this flat antenna comprises: an insulating body having a flat shape; a first conductor layer having a belt shape and being provided in the insulating body; a second conductor layer provided in the insulating body along the first conductor layer; and a matching circuit that matches the impedance of the first conductor layer and the second conductor layer. A radiation area setting unit is provided in a signal path between a power supply circuit and the matching circuit and the flat antenna is configured such that an area further on the matching circuit side than the position where the radiation area setting unit is provided is a radiation area and an area further on the power supply circuit side than the position where the radiation area setting unit is provided is a non-radiation area.
