Abstract:
Deformation of a conductive connection section of a flat cable can be suppressed. A belt-like flat cable (1) where conductive wires (3) arranged side by side with intervals are integrally coated with a resin film (5). In the cable (1) are provided conductive connection sections (7) where the conductive wires (3) are partially exposed from the resin film (5) and melt-joined to connection mate side terminals (9). Reinforcement sections (11, 13) for reinforcing the conductive connection sections (7) are formed on the resin film (5) in a bridging manner. The conductive connection sections (7) are arranged at an end section in the longitudinal direction of the resin film (5). The cable (1) further has an insulative tip coating section (10) that coats the tip of each of the conductive connection sections (7) and joins them together so that the conductive connection sections (7) are restricted from separating. The reinforcement sections (11, 13) bridge between the end section in the longitudinal direction of the resin film (5) and the tip coating section (10).
