Abstract:
A flat discharge display device, comprising projected structural bodies (8) and recesses (11) fitted to the projected structural bodies (8) provided in either of a rear side glass substrate (1) and a front side glass substrate (12) in spaces between a plurality of unit discharge display parts and unit discharge display parts adjacent to the unit discharge display parts and glass frits (14) and (13) provided between the peripheral sides of the rear side glass substrate (1) and the front side glass substrate (12) and between the projected structural bodies (8) and the grooves (11) fitted to the projected structural bodies (8), wherein the rear side glass substrate (1) and the front side glass substrate (12) are pressed against each other in the state that the glass frits (14) and (13) are heated, whereby a vacuum flat tube body sealed with discharge gas can be formed.
