Title:
FLAT ELEMENTS FOR INFLUENCING VISIBLE ELECTRONIC SURFACES IN WINDOW ELEMENTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO1997002731
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The object of the invention is to illuminate with colours and darken an inner room by means of flat elements that influence each other. An optimum light intensity is thus achieved in the inner room, and other outer influences may thus be influenced by the light. Three flat elements (1, 2, 3) are made of hollow bodies with an electroconductive medium (5, 6, 6a) that contains magnetic, fluorescent and phosphorescent components. By generating a current through the three flat elements (1, 2, 3), they are made to interact and magnetic fields are generated within and between the hollow bodies. The colours of the media (5, 6, 6a) are differently modified within the hollow bodies. It is also possible to modify the colours by superimposing media of different colours in said hollow bodies. The light rays then hit projection flat elements (4 and 8) that receive the resulting light rays. A measurement, control and regulating device (7) influences the colours, magnetic fields and a pressure control (11 and 12) for the flat elements (1, 2, 3). The invention has applications in residential and commercial buildings, in means of transport, and in another of its aspects may also be considered for television sets.
