Abstract:
A flat fluorescent concentrator, and manufacturing method thereof. The concentrator comprises a fluorescent substance and a flat light waveguide (1), wherein the fluorescent substance is a copper-indium sulfide (CIS) quantum dot (3) material, the flat light waveguide (1) is a macromolecular polymer, such as polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate, polydimethyl siloxane, and polyethylene. The present invention applies CIS to the field of flat fluorescent concentrators, and thus better utilizes the unique advantage of CIS quantum dots (3), thereby creating a wider future application range for CIS quantum dots (3). CIS quantum dots (3) are an environmentally friendly quantum dot fluorescent material having superior photostability and thermal stability and highly efficient fluorescence; therefore, by combining the CIS quantum dots with the flat light waveguide technique and solar cells to construct a novel flat fluorescent concentrator，the present invention not only facilitates promotion of the CIS material in various applications, but also improves a photoelectric conversion efficiency of a solar power generation system to create huge financial benefits.
