Provided is a flat-panel display member that has, on a glass substrate, partition walls with low softening-point glass as the main ingredient thereof, and which also has the destruction of the partition walls, which will cause non-lighting or abnormal lighting of the discharge cells, suppressed, by making the flat-panel display member characterized in having the partition walls consist of at least two layers, and having the modulus of elasticity of the low softening-point glass, which is the main ingredient of the uppermost layer of the partition walls, to be 80 GPa or less.
