Abstract:
In order to enable flat plates of different sizes to move down the same production line while maintaining the straight travel properties of the flat plates without touching the side surfaces and the surfaces of the flat plates as far as possible, a plurality of conveyance rollers (7) on a plurality of conveyance rotating shafts (5) disposed in the direction of travel of a glass substrate (G) are rotated at a first rotational speed and brought into contact with the back surface side of the glass substrate (G) to thereby advance the glass substrate (G) in the conveying direction thereof, the inclination (θ) of the glass substrate (G) is detected in front of a position (2), and an auxiliary roller (9) which is rotatable at a second rotational speed different from the first rotational speed is brought into contact with the glass substrate (G) from the back surface side of the glass substrate (G) to correct the inclination (θ) of the glass substrate (G).
