Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flat plate edge machining apparatus and, more specifically, to a flat plate edge machining apparatus capable of simultaneously machining four corners and both side surfaces of a flat plate having a predetermined size. The flat plate edge machining apparatus according to the present invention comprises a conveying means and a machining means. The conveying means moves a flat plate forward in one direction. The machining means comprises: a sensor part for sensing the horizontal position and the height of the flat plate moving forward on the conveying means; a first machining part having a first shaft part fixed in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction, and a machining cutter mounted on the first shaft part so as to machine the lower edge of one side of the flat plate; a second machining part having a second shaft part, which is fixed in the horizontal direction and positioned at the upper part of the first shaft part so as to be movable along the direction of the first shaft part such that the second shaft part can be positioned at the upper part of the flat plate according to the flat plate height sensed by the sensor part, and the machining cutter mounted on the second shaft part so as to machine the upper edge of one side of the flat plate; a third machining part having a third shaft part, which is fixed in the vertical direction, positioned horizontally to the first shaft part, and capable of moving in the horizontal direction of the first shaft part such that the third shaft part can be positioned at the other side of the flat plate according to the flat plate width sensed by the sensor part, and the machining cutter mounted on the third shaft part so as to machine the lower edge of the other side of the flat plate; and a fourth machining part having a fourth shaft part capable of moving in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction so as to be positioned at the upper part of the other side of the flat plate sensed by the sensor part, and the machining cutter mounted on the fourth shaft part so as to machine the upper edge of the other side of the flat plate.
