Abstract:
The flat plate-shaped porous carbon material comprises a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, and satisfies all of conditions (1) to (5). (1): Pores having a pore diameter of 2 nm to 50 nm are provided in the vicinity of the surface at the first main surface and/or the second main surface, and, in a cross-sectional view in the thickness direction, the pores are present in the range to 20 µm in the thickness direction from the surface of the main surface on the side where the pores are provided. (2): A diffraction peak (G) originating with the (002) graphite crystal plane is present as a diffraction peak obtained by wide-angle X-ray diffraction measurement. (3): A diffraction peak (S) originating with the silicon carbide crystal is present as a diffraction peak obtained by wide-angle X-ray diffraction measurement. (4): The BET specific surface area is 5 m2/g to 50 m2/g. (5): The BJH pore diameter distribution has a peak in the range of 2 nm to 50 nm.
