Abstract:
There was a need for a technology to effectively achieve a narrow frame in flat-screen display devices equipped with speakers. This liquid-crystal TV is provided with SP bosses (30) for mounting a speaker unit (50) to the bottom cover (20) which also serves as a cosmetic part. In addition, a speaker unit (50) is positioned above (on the rear side) of the backlight chassis (12). By positioning the speaker unit (50) in such a manner that the anchor holes in the SP anchoring part (53) are in alignment with the holes in the SP boss (30), and screwing in the screws (81), the speaker unit (50) is anchored to the bottom cover (20).
