Abstract:
Provided is a flat speaker that can enhance acoustic characteristics. This flat speaker is provided with: a flat vibration plate; a drive part attached to the rear surface of the vibration plate to vibrate the vibration plate; a fixing member for fixing the outer peripheral part of the vibration plate along the peripheral direction; a first support member which is disposed further inside than the fixing member in the radial direction, supports the rear surface of the vibration plate along the peripheral direction, and has a smaller hardness value and/or a greater value of internal loss than the fixing member; and a second support member which is disposed further inside than the first support member in the radial direction, supports the rear surface of the vibration plate along the peripheral direction, and has a smaller hardness value and/or a greater value of internal loss than the first support member.
