Abstract:
Provided is a flat type vibration motor capable of being mounted on a device-side board by a reflow process and capable of being reduced in occupied area. The motor comprises: a stator substrate (12) abutted by one end of a spindle (1); a cover (3) sealed by the substrate (12) and having a shaft mounting hole (H2) into which the other end of the spindle (1) is fitted; and a rotor frame (6) having a rotor magnet (5) and an eccentric spindle (8) and supported so as to be freely rotatable through a sliding bearing (4) through which the spindle (1) passes. The stator substrate (12) has: a magnetic metal core plate (10) having holes (10a to 10c) for generating a detent torque; wiring patterns (30 to 39) disposed on a first electrical insulating film (20) formed on the top side surface of the core plate (10) and used for interconnecting mounted electronic components; and electrode patterns (55, 51, 52) disposed on a second electrical insulating film (40) formed on the bottom side surface of the core plate (10) and connected to the wiring patterns through through-holes (h1 to h3). The inside of the holes (10a to 10c) are clogged with the top and bottom overlapping films (W1 to W3) of the first electrical insulating film (20) and the second electrical insulating film (40).
