Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of display and provides a flexible display device. The flexible display device may comprise: a flexible display screen, comprising a bending area; a supporting assembly provided by fitting the bending area; a contraction assembly provided on the periphery of the supporting assembly; and a driving assembly, constructed to drive the contraction assembly to switch between moving in the direction close to the flexible display screen and moving in the direction away from the flexible display screen. According to embodiments of the present invention, the supporting assembly and the contraction assembly are provided on the bending area of the flexible display screen, so that when the flexible display screen is in a flat state, the bending area can be supported by the supporting assembly and the contraction assembly together, and when the flexible display screen is in a folded state, the bending area can continue to be supported by the supporting assembly, however, the contraction assembly moves in the direction away from the flexible display screen, thereby leaving a contraction space for the flexible display screen, and accordingly effectively avoiding mechanical breakage caused when the pull force applied to the bending area exceeds pull force bearing extremity.
