Abstract:
Disclosed is a flexible display device. The flexible display device comprises a first body, a second body, a flexible display, an actuator, and a first sensor. The second body reciprocates between a first position and a second position relative to the first body. The flexible display comprises a first region and a second region. The area of the second region forming the same plane as the first region increases as the second body transitions from the first position to the second position. When free fall is sensed by the first sensor, the actuator may operate to move the second body toward the second position, thereby reducing damage to the flexible display device.
