FLEXIBLE FLAT CABLE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND UNFOAMED INSULATING TAPE USED FOR PRODUCTION OF SAME

[Problem] To provide: a flexible flat cable which has low dielectric constant, while being suppressed in change of the dielectric constant caused by use thereof, and which is used for high-speed transmission; a method for producing this flexible flat cable; and an unfoamed insulating tape which is used for the production of this flexible flat cable. [Solution] The above-mentioned problem is solved by a flexible flat cable 10 which is used for high-speed transmission, and which comprises a plurality of conductors 1, two adhesive insulating layers 2 that sandwich the conductors 1, two resin films 3 that sandwich the adhesive insulating layers 2, and a shield layer 5 that is provided on at least one of the resin films 3. This flexible flat cable 10 is configured such that: one or both of the two adhesive insulating layers 2 are formed from a resin that is selected from among a polyphenylene ether resin that is foamed at an expansion ratio within the range of from 1.81 to 2.25 (inclusive), a copolymer of this polyphenylene ether resin, a polystyrene resin, a copolymer of a polystyrene resin, a polyolefin resin and a copolymer of a polyolefin resin; and the foam beads have an average diameter D within the range of from 15 μm to 40 μm (inclusive).
