Abstract:
The invention relates to a flexible hollow eversion sheath defined by a first open end and a second open end, the first end and the second end having a fixed position relative to one another, the sheath comprising a hollow central body defining a passage opening from one edge of the body to the other, the first end being everted outwardly to create an eversion section partially surrounding the body, the eversion section being defined between the first end and a floating edge of the body, the floating edge being movable between a proximal position of the first end wherein the body is longitudinally folded, and a distal position of the first end wherein the body is expanded so as to increase the length of the body and the length of the eversion section.
