Abstract:
A flexible mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a backbone extending in the longitudinal direction; a first steering wire group including at least one steering wire which is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the backbone, in the spiral direction of a first direction, and transfers, to an end effector, an operating force applied to one end thereof; and a second steering wire group including at least one steering wire which is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the backbone, in the spiral direction of a second direction different from the first direction, and transfers, to the end effector, an operating force applied to one end thereof.
