Abstract:
This flexible OLED device production method comprises parting a flexible base board region (30d) from an intermediate region (30i) in a resin film (30) in a layered structure body (100), then irradiating the boundary between the flexible base board region (30d) and the glass base (10) with laser light; and, in a state wherein the layered structure body (100) is in contact with a stage (210), separating the layered structure body (100) into a first part (110) and a second part (120). The first part (110) contains a plurality of OLED devices (1000) in contact with the stage (210), each of the OLED devices (1000) having a plurality of functional layer regions (20) and the flexible base board region (30d). The second part (120) contains the glass base (10) and the intermediate region (30i). The step of irradiating with the laser light comprises the steps of: forming the laser light using a plurality of laser light sources which have been arrayed; modulating temporally and spatially the outputs from the plurality of laser light sources according to the shape of the flexible base board region in the synthetic resin film; and lowering the intensity of the laser light irradiated onto at least a portion of the boundary between the intermediate region (30i) and the glass base (10) to below the intensity of the laser light irradiated onto the boundary between the flexible base board region (30d) and the glass base (10).
