Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flexible wire rod and a processing method therefor. A flexible wire rod of the present invention comprises a high-temperature superconducting wire rod comprising: a substrate; a buffer layer; a superconducting layer; a silver layer; and a stabilizing layer, wherein the substrate thickness is reduced in the overall area of the high-temperature superconducting wire rod, or a plurality of superconducting layers are stacked so as to increase the cross sectional area of the superconducting layers, and thus engineering critical current density (Je) is improved, and wire rod flexibility is provided by reducing or removing substrate thickness.
