Abstract:
Provided is a flexographic printing plate that limits the widening of halftone dots at boundaries between low halftone dot rate image sections and non-image sections and makes printing in which discontinuity of density is imperceptible possible. An image section has a highlight halftone dot section with a greater-than-0% to 10% halftone dot rate, and is configured so that in the highlight halftone dot section, of the dots configuring the highlight halftone dot section, the tip diameter of at least one dot, of the dots adjacent to the non-image section that continue at least 10 mm from the edge of the highlight halftone dot section in the direction orthogonal to said edge, is less than the mean value for the dot tip diameter in the highlight halftone dot section.
