Abstract:
A flicker reducing device (200) provided with: a line integrated value acquisition unit (210) that acquires, for every image, a line integrated value for each horizontal line within a portion of a plurality of image-configuring horizontal lines, from the values of pixels that are contained in each horizontal line; a discrete Fourier transformation unit (230) that performs a discrete Fourier transformation on a list of line integrated values that is constituted by the line integrated values within each image amongst a recent image and a plurality of images acquired prior to the recent image; a linear approximation unit (250) that obtains an approximate straight line on the basis of phase information obtained from the discrete Fourier transformation, and extracts flicker information from the approximate straight line; a flicker coefficient calculation unit (260) that calculates the flicker coefficient on the basis of the flicker information; and a corrective calculation unit (270) that performs a flicker reducing process for an image signal using the flicker coefficient.
