Abstract:
A flickerless LED driver device is disclosed. The present invention provides an LED driver device comprising: a transformer including a primary coil to which an alternating current voltage is applied, and a secondary coil for generating a first inductive voltage induced by the primary coil; a secondary coil circuit for receiving the first inductive voltage and applying a first direct current voltage to a light emitting diode (LED) module; a current detecting unit for detecting, from the secondary coil circuit, a driving current that flows through the secondary coil; a current control unit for receiving a signal associated with the driving current and generating a control signal for controlling a light emission current that flows through the LED module; and a ripple attenuator which is connected with the LED module, receives a visual light communication (VLC) signal and the current control signal, controls a light emission current corresponding to the VLC signal to flow, and suppresses ripple of the light emission current.
