Abstract:
Provided are a flight device and a method for controlling the same, by which it is possible to accurately measure the power remaining in a battery with a simple configuration. A flight device 10 is provided with a rotor 11, a motor 12, a power conversion unit 14, a battery 21, and a computational control unit 15. The rotor 11 rotates to generate propulsion for causing an airframe base 16 to float. The motor 12 is supplied with electricity from the battery 21 to rotationally drive the rotor 11. The computational control unit 15 generates an instruction signal such that the airframe base 16 assumes a prescribed position and attitude. The power conversion unit 14 adjusts the amount of electricity supplied to the motor 12 from the battery 21 on the basis of the inputted instruction signal. Additionally, the computational control unit 15 estimates the power remaining in the battery 21 on the basis of the instruction signal.
