Abstract:
A flight robot, provided with: a main flight unit; a propulsion part having a plurality of propulsion units that generate a propulsion force by the driving of rotors, the plurality of propulsion units being provided to the main flight unit; a main work unit; a manipulator unit configured so as to be capable of performing prescribed work and provided to the main work unit, the manipulator unit having one or more work manipulators; and a connection unit provided to the main work unit and the main flight unit so that the main flight unit can be connected to and disconnected from the main work unit; wherein the prescribed work is performed by means of the work manipulator in a state in which the main work unit and the main flight unit are connected by the connection unit. As a result of such a configuration, a flight robot, which is a flying body on which there is mounted a manipulator for performing work, is caused to perform work that is as varied as possible.
