Abstract:
Provided is a float valve device in which a large inside diameter can be ensured in the float chamber and the outside diameter of the float valve can be enlarged. This float valve device (10) comprises: a body (15) in which is formed a dividing wall (25) having a float chamber (R1) and a first vent hole (27a); a cap (50) capable of being welded to a fuel tank (1), and composed of a readily fuel-swelling resin; and a float valve (70) accommodated so as to be capable of rising and falling inside the float chamber (R1). A seal member (90) is disposed on the outer periphery of a peripheral wall top part (21a) of the body (15), a cylindrical wall (63) extending from the cap (50) is in contact with the outer periphery of the seal member, a pressing wall (33) extending from the body (15) is in contact with the more outward periphery of the cylindrical wall (63), an engaging piece (65) extending from the bottom edge of the cylindrical wall (63) engages with an engaging part (35) of the body (15), and the cap (50) is connected to the body (15).
