Abstract:
A seal diameter (X) of a first valve port (12) is set smaller than the diameter of a second valve port (14), a pressure receiving area of a first valve body portion (16) is small, and therefore an adhesion force of the first valve body (16) to a valve seat (12a) becomes smaller. Thus, adhesion of the first valve body portion (16) to the valve seat (12a) is released without increasing the weight of a float (15) and the first valve port (12) can be opened. After the first valve port (12) is opened, the difference between the pressure in a fuel tank (20) and that in a connection pipe on the canister side is smaller, causing an adhesion force acting on the second valve body portion (22) to be reduced to reliably open the second valve body section (22). The above structure makes it possible that the second valve port (14) having a larger diameter than the first valve port (12) is opened without increasing the weight of a sub-float (21).
