Abstract:
Provided is a floatation separating apparatus that can be reduced in size and has a good treatment efficiency. A floatation separating apparatus 1 comprises an outer cylinder 3 disposed along the vertical direction, and an inner cylinder 4 provided at a substantially central part of the outer cylinder 3, and which is open at the upper end. The floatation separating apparatus 1 causes water to be treated to flow out from the upper end of the inner cylinder 4, causes suspended matter to adhere to air bubbles and separate through floatation, and causes the water to be treated from which the suspended matter has separated to fall to a space A between the outer cylinder 3 and the inner cylinder 4 and thereafter be discharged out of the system. A lower part of the space A is provided with a flow straightening unit 6 through which the water to be treated passes. The flow straightening unit 6 is configured by concentrically arranging a plurality of inclined plates having truncated conical cylindrical shapes with different diameters, and is provided such that the diameter decreases as it extends downward.
