Abstract:
Disclosed is a floating type flap gate wherein the gate body does not shake significantly when raised. The disclosed floating body type flap gate (1) is disposed on a ground surface (s) in an opening section (d) and when water (w) tries to flow into the opening section (d), the gate uses the water pressure of the water (w) which is trying to flow in and the buoyancy of the gate body (2) to raise the gate body (2) and block the opening section (d). The gate body (2) is configured from, three gate body blocks (2a-2c), for example, which are separated in the vertical direction. These gate body blocks (2a-2c), which are separated in the vertical direction, are connected by rotation mechanisms (3a-3c) which are capable of rotating only by a specified angle, in the plane of the vertical direction, toward the direction in which the water (w) is trying to flow in from the opening section (d). Thus, the gate body does not shake significantly regardless of the water level of the water flowing in from the opening section.
