Abstract:
The present invention provides a floating device and a floating method. The floating device comprises: an upper electrode and a lower electrode arranged apart from each other; a main power source for applying voltage to the upper electrode or to the lower electrode and causing a charged object to oppose the force of gravity by means of the static electric force generated by the voltage so as to cause the charged object to float; a laser for heating the charged object; and a spherical mirror for reflecting light reflected by the charged object back toward the charged object. The reflected light is generated by the light emitted by the laser passing through a through-hole formed in the central region of the surface of the spherical mirror and reflected by the charged object.
