Abstract:
An anchor (25) is provided in a cantilever manner to a cylinder (8a) which is fixed to a support (2a) so as to constitute a fixing member together with the support (2a). The outer end of the anchor (25) in an axial direction is disposed between a pair of radial-direction projections (51a, 51b) which are formed at the outer peripheral edge of an outer pad (5a) supported by a yoke (3a). Thus, a tangential brake force applied to the outer pad (5a) is directly supported by the anchor (25) through abutment of the anchor (25) against the radial-direction projections (51a, 51b) provided to the outer pad (5a) during braking.
