A floor scrubber, comprising a floor scrubber main body (100) and a direction recognition mechanism (200) being arranged thereon, the direction recognition mechanism (200) comprising a follower component (210), a transmission mechanism (220), an encoding disk (230) and at least two optical paths (300). The follower component (210) rotates along with the movement of the floor scrubber main body (100), and the transmission mechanism (220) converts the rotation of the follower component (210) into the rotation of the encoding disk (230). The encoding disk (230) is arranged in the at least two optical paths (300), and the at least two optical paths (300) are separated by a predetermined angle in the circumferential direction of the encoding disk (230). The encoding disk (230) is provided with at least one pathway component, and when the pathway component is aligned with the optical paths (300), the optical paths (300) are unblocked. The floor scrubber main body (100) is provided with a processor (101), the processor (101) being used for receiving information on blockage and unblockage of each optical path (300) and determining the moving direction of the floor scrubber main body (100) according to the information on blockage and unblockage of each optical path (300).
