Abstract:
A floor-standing electric cutting device and a supporter for the floor-standing
electric cutting device. The cutting device has a base body capable of supporting
a material to be cut, a cutting blade support member whose rear end is installed
at a portion at substantially the center of the base body, nearer to one end of it
and whose forward end is pivotable in the vertical direction, a cutting device
rotated by a motor installed on the cutting blade support member at the vertically
pivotable portion and capable of cutting the material by a cutting blade, and
an inclination means provided so as to be able to incline the base body according
to the inclination of the material. Independent of the weight and length of the
material to be cut, the material can be easily cut even by one person while being
made to be in intimate contact with the base body.
