Abstract:
The disclosed floor structure for a vehicle allows for a lower vehicle floor while maintaining flatness thereof and minimizing weakening of the vehicle body resulting from said floor-lowering. In the disclosed floor structure for a vehicle, a side member (12) is connected to the bottom surface of a floor panel of the vehicle, and is provided with a standard height part (120) in which the projection dimensions thereof from the bottom surface of the floor panel are set to a specific value, and a reduced height part (122) in which the projection dimensions thereof are set to be less than the standard height part (120). A component (36) of a rear suspension (30) is disposed underneath the reduced height part (122) of the side member (12). Additionally, on the side member (12), at least the reduced height part (122) and the area extending from the reduced height part (122) to a position (41s) at which a support bracket (41) of a component (34) of the rear suspension (30) is connected to the standard height part (120) of the side member (12), are reinforced by means of a reinforcing member (140).
