Disclosed is a flotation method for separating calcite and quartz, comprising the following steps: 1) feeding overflow ore obtained by ore grinding into a slurry stirring barrel; 2) calcite rough selection: adding a regulator and an inhibitor, feeding into a rough selection flotation cell, adding a combination collecting agent and performing rough selection, the combination collecting agent being a solution formed by mixing oleic acid and diesel oil; 3) first calcite scavenging: feeding slurry in the cell obtained by rough selection into a first calcite scavenging flotation cell, and adding the combination collecting agent; 4) second calcite scavenging: feeding the slurry in the cell obtained by rough selection into a second calcite scavenging flotation cell; 5) concentration and filter pressing: returning a foam product obtained by the second calcite scavenging to the first calcite scavenging flotation cell for secondary flotation separation, feeding the slurry in the cell into a tailings thickener, then concentrating, filter pressing and dehydrating to obtain a quartz sand dry material and a filtrate. The present method is not limited by temperature, and may improve the structure of the flotation foam, significantly increasing the value of quartz sand.
