Abstract:
A flow adjustment device comprising a housing (100) and an adjusting element (200). Provided in the housing is a water passage, which is a stepped hole having a stepped surface (130) whereupon are fixed several protruding bases (140), an interval being provided between two adjacent protruding bases. The adjusting element is made of an elastic material able flexibly to distend when subjected to pressure. Said element is installed inside the housing and arranged on the protruding bases. The space above the stepped surface, below the adjusting element, and between two adjacent protruding bases forms the water outlet (400) of the water passage; distension of the adjusting element enables a portion thereof to press into the water outlet, thereby changing the cross-sectional area of said outlet. The advantage of the flow adjusting device is as follows: the water outlet opposite the adjusting element has no underlying support, and the adjusting element distends in the same direction as the water flow. This allows the adjusting element a great volume of distension, a great range of flow adjustment, a high degree of distension sensitivity to pressure changes, and a high degree of adjustment accuracy.
