Abstract:
Disclosed is a flow battery. A flow battery, according to the present invention, can enable reduction of shunt current by means of blocking electrochemical parallel connection due to an electrolyte solution, can enable high voltage and high power by means of increasing the number of series, can enable reduction of overvoltage by means of having a separate electrolyte solution tank for recovery and dividing an electrode into many and then parallelly connecting same, and can have low internal resistance by means of removing a bipolar plate and removing a connection portion of the electrode, thereby increasing efficiency and simplifying the structure. In addition, the present invention can have long life by using a separate preserving solution at standby.
