Abstract:
The present invention provides a flow control method and corresponding system for cell short message. The method includes the following steps: dividing the service time of the cell short message into one or several time quantum, configuring the short message flow threshold of each and every time quantum, detecting the position information of the terminal user entering into the cell and the action status of the terminal, and thereby obtaining the user information; collecting statistics about the short message flow gross of the terminal user in one time quantum, judging whether the short message flow gross reaches the short message flow threshold corresponding to the time quantum, and discarding the user information if yes. In the present invention, the method collects statistics about the short message flow gross in one time quantum, the cell short message would not be transmitted to the terminal user if the short message flow gross is greater than the predetermined threshold, and therefore the control for the cell short message flow is enabled. The processing flow of the present invention is a dynamic process, and can be accurately controlled according to the status of the network at any moment. The possibility of network congestion can be reduced enormously, and the stability of the network can be increased.
