Abstract:
Provided is a flow meter sensor capable of performing stable measurement in a wide temperature range including a high-temperature range of over 100℃. A flow meter sensor 11 according to the present invention is provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 64, a pipe 1, and an acoustic prism 61. The acoustic prism 61 has: a bottom surface 65 that is disposed so as to be in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 1; and a front-side sloping surface 63 that supports the ultrasonic vibrator 64. The acoustic prism 61 propagates ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic vibrator 64 toward a fluid within the pipe 1. The pipe 1 comprises a first heat-resistant resin that has: heat resistance in a temperature range of 90°C to 200°C; and negative thermoacoustic characteristics whereby ultrasonic transmittance decreases as the temperature rises in the aforementioned temperature range. The acoustic prism 61 comprises a second heat-resistant resin that has: heat resistance in the aforementioned temperature range; and positive thermoacoustic characteristics whereby ultrasonic transmittance increases as the temperature rises in said temperature range.
