Abstract:
A flow path device according to the present invention is provided with a storage chamber, an inlet, a flow path, and a projection. The storage chamber has a ceiling face and a bottom face and is capable of storing a specimen. The inlet communicates between the outside of the storage chamber and the storage chamber so that the specimen can flow into the storage chamber from the outside of the storage chamber. The flow path is connected to an upper region of the storage chamber at a position remote from the inlet. The specimen is allowed to flow out from the storage chamber into the flow path. The projection projects from the ceiling face of the storage chamber toward the bottom face of the storage chamber and is located between the inlet and the flow path. The projection limits a space through which a space on the inlet side of the storage chamber and a space on the flow path side of the storage chamber communicate with each other to within a prescribed height from the bottom face of the storage chamber.
