Abstract:

A flow path switching valve (1) into which a high-pressure liquid and a low-pressure liquid flow. The flow path switching valve is provided with a stator (3) and a rotor (2) having a surface (4) making contact with one surface of the stator (3) and rotating, sliding on the contact surface (4). The stator (3) has liquid flow ports open in the contact surface (4), and the rotor (2) has flow path grooves for interconnecting the liquid flow ports. Among the flow path grooves, flow path grooves into which the high-pressure liquid flows are positioned on opposite sides of the rotation center (6) of the rotor (2). The construction reduces a local load acting on the rotor (2) when the high-pressure liquid is supplied, and this prevents the contact surface (4) from being scraped away by edges (7) of port openings when the rotor (2) rotates.
