Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flow rate control apparatus for a wind power generator including an air duct, an emergency vent outlet, and an auxiliary duct. The flow rate control apparatus comprises: an on/off valve installed at the front side of a turbine installed in the middle of the air duct, so as to allow or block the supply of wind; a discharge mechanism installed at the emergency vent outlet to allow or block wind blowing toward the emergency vent outlet; a blower fan installed at the auxiliary duct to generate additional wind into the air duct; wind power measuring means installed at an inlet-side position of the air duct to measure the velocity and flow rate of wind passing through the air duct; and a control unit configured to read the velocity and flow rate measured by the wind power measuring means and to control the output of operating signals for the on/off valve, the discharge mechanism, and the blower fan according to the read velocity and flow rate. Therefore, wind can be constantly supplied to the turbine regardless of the velocity and flow rate of natural wind blowing into the air duct through a wind tunnel, so as to improve power generation efficiency.
