Abstract:
A flow rate control valve is provided with: a main spool having a sliding hole which is provided with a first passage for allowing a high-pressure liquid to be introduced therein, and which is also provided with second passages open to a low-pressure region, the first and second passages being open at the inner periphery of the sliding hole at positions located at a distance from each other in the axial direction, the main spool also having a spring disposed on one end side of the sliding hole, the main spool further having a pilot passage which is formed at a position where the pilot passage is open to the sliding hole and which allows a pilot pressure to be introduced therein, thereby pressing and moving a pilot spool to one end side against the spring; and the pilot spool which is fitted in a slidable manner into the sliding hole of the main spool, is pressed by the spring to the other end side of the sliding hole, and has a groove formed in the outer periphery thereof, the groove opening and closing the connection between the first and second passages depending on the sliding position of the pilot spool. The flow rate control valve is configured in such a manner that: the second passages of the main spool are provided with notches recesses and formed in the outer peripheral surface of the main spool, and also with orifices for connecting the slide hole and the inside of the notches; the second passages are formed at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction; and the second passages are also provided with a communication passage for connecting the second passages.
