Abstract:
This flow rate measurement device that measures the flow rate of a fluid flowing in a flow path comprises: a heat application unit that applies heat to the fluid flowing in the flow path; a travel time detection unit that detects, as a first time, a time at which the heat applied to the fluid by the heat application unit travels a first distance downstream, and detects, as a second time, a time at which the heat travels a second distance upstream; and a flow rate calculation unit that calculates the flow rate of the fluid flowing in the flow path on the basis of the first time and the second time detected by the travel time detection unit and the first distance and the second distance.
