Abstract:
A strengthened demercuration system and method for a bag type dust collector. The system used by a demercuration method comprises a mercury measuring instrument, an activated carbon storage tank, compressed air and an electromagnetic valve. The mercury measuring instrument is arranged at the downstream position of a bag type dust collector and is configured to measure the content of mercury in dust removal flue gas; and when the content concentration of the mercury is close to an emission standard or a flue temperature is too highly increased, a back blowing device of the bag type dust collector can be opened to jet a mercury adsorbent, thereby enabling the mercury adsorbent to be located at the bottom layer of a filter cake. The method is able to suppress the problem of secondary release of mercury and reduce the dosage of a mercury adsorbent.
