Abstract:

A fluid control valve is provided with a light emitting part (22) which emits light, a light receiving part (24) which is provided to face the light emitting part (22) and detects the amount of light received from the light emitting part (22), and a valve element (10) which opens and closes a flow path (20). The valve element (10) or a light blocking part (12) affixed to the valve element (10) moves in a direction crossing a space between the light emitting part (22) and the light receiving part (24) with the opening and closing of the flow path (20), the amount of the light received from the light emitting part (22) by the light receiving part (24) is changed according to the position of the valve element (10), and the position of the valve element (10) is detected on the basis of the amount of the light received by the light receiving part (24).
