Abstract:
A fluid damper device (10) is equipped with a rotor (30) which is inserted into a floor-equipped cylindrical case (20), and a cover (60) which is secured to the opening (29) of the case (20). Welding projections (80) to be welded to the cover (60) are formed along part of the inner-circumferential surface of the case (20) in the circumferential direction thereof. On the other side (L2) in the axial (L) direction relative to the welding range (X) where the cover and the welding projections (80) are welded to one another, first outflow prevention parts (91L, 91R) are formed in locations which are adjacent to the welding projections (80) in the circumferential direction thereof, as outflow prevention parts (90) for appropriately handling the molten resin which overflows from the welding sites. In addition, arc-shaped stepped surfaces (76) which function as outflow restricting parts (95) are provided on the other side (L2) in the axial L direction from the first outflow prevention parts (91L, 91R), and as a result, restrict contact between an O-ring (49) and resin which has overflowed.
