Abstract:
This fluid discharge device (1) provided with a permanent magnet (16) fixed on a needle (10) for opening and closing a discharge port (3a), and a pair of electromagnets (20), (21) having the permanent magnet (16) interposed therebetween. The permanent magnet (16) is configured so as to have a N pole and a S pole in a radial direction perpendicular to a needle axis line (L1). The electromagnets (20), (21) have a magnetic core, an electromagnetic coil wound around the magnetic core, and members transmitting respectively the magnetic poles generated at both sides of the magnetic core to the magnetic pole surfaces facing the permanent magnet (16). When opening the discharge port (3a), an electrification control unit (61) controls the electrification direction of the electromagnetic coil so that a repulsive force acts between the upper side electromagnet (20) and the permanent magnet (16) and an attractive force acts between the lower side electromagnet (21) and the permanent magnet (16). When closing the discharge port (3a), the electrification control unit (61) switches the electrification direction of the electromagnetic coil to the direction opposite to that when opening the discharge port (3a). As a result, a fluid discharge device capable of a high-speed opening and closing operation of the discharge port is provided.
