Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a fluid feed pipe with excellent pipe pull-out-preventing properties in which deformation of a locking ridge is limited even when a large tensile load is applied on the joint section. Provided is a fluid feed pipe with a pipe body (2) in which the outer circumferential surface (3) of the joint section (1) of the pipe body (2) has a locking ridge (4) that is formed by form-rolling. The locking ridge (4) comprises curved base sections (5) extending from the outer circumferential surface (3), vertical wall sections (6) extending from the base sections (5), curved sections (7) extending from the vertical wall sections (6), and an apical section (8) extending from the curved sections (7). The height (9a) of the locking ridge (4) from the outer circumferential surface (3) to the tip of the apical section (8) is at least the total of the radii of curvature of the processing means (10,11) that are located on the inside and the outside of the pipe body (2) during form-rolling, and the amount of strain-induced martensite in the locking ridge (4) is 5% to 45% in volume fraction.
