Abstract:
The present invention relates to the provision of a fluid handling device and a holding device with which it is possible to improve accuracy when attaching the fluid handling device to the holding device. A microchip 10 is provided with a positioning hole 13 for positioning, and is attached to a holding device 20 by being moved from a first position in which the microchip is not positioned, to a second position in which the microchip is positioned by means of a positioning pin 24, wherein: the positioning hole 13 is provided in a position such that the positioning pin 24 is gradually inserted thereinto as the microchip 10 moves from the first position to the second position; and the shape of the positioning hole 13 is a shape whereby, in the second position of the microchip 10, the microchip 10 is positioned by a portion of the outer circumference of the positioning pin 24 coming into contact with a portion of the inner circumference of the positioning hole, and whereby the positioning pin 24 does not interfere with the movement of the microchip 10 from the first position to the second position.
