Abstract:
Provided is a fluid injection-type artificial muscle actuator with which overheating produced in association with the charging and discharging of a fluid can be suppressed. A liquid injection-type artificial muscle actuator (10) is provided with a cylindrical member (11) that is elastic, a first cover section (12) for closing off one end of the cylindrical member (11), a second covering section (13) for closing off the other end of the cylindrical member (11), a first communication passage (14) that is formed in the first cover section (12) and enables communication between an internal space and external space of the cylindrical member (11), and a tubular member (16) serving as an overheating suppression mechanism for suppressing overheating produced in association with the charging and discharging of a fluid.
